CLASS SIZE
I. 听 Kindergarten
- The class size limit for a Kindergarten class is 22 students (this includes a combined Kindergarten/Primary class).
- The district average size of Kindergarten classes, in aggregate, will not exceed 19 students.
II. 听 Primary (Grades 1 to 3)
- The class size limit for a Primary class is 24 students (this includes a combined Primary/Intermediate class).
- The district average size of Primary classes, in aggregate, will not exceed 21 students.
III. 听 听Intermediate (Grades 4 to 7)
- The class size limit for an Intermediate class is 30 students unless the principal of the school has obtained the consent of the teacher of that class.
- The district average size of Intermediate classes, in aggregate, will not exceed 28 students.
IV. 听 Secondary (Grades 8 to 12)
- The district average size of Secondary classes, in aggregate, will not exceed 30 students unless the principal of the school has consulted with the teacher of that class.
